About Us

The Pan-EU Youth project is coordinated by European Schoolnet, in cooperation with Vivendi and the European Commission.

Pan-EU Youth is a platform for self-expression, for young people between the age of 14 and 18. They are invited to post thoughts, questions and remarks on any topic regarding modern technology and the internet either via the blog, or by sharing videos they’ve created. They can also share content and interact via several Pan-EU Youth social media pages: Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The underlying aim is to develop a feeling of exchange and ownership among the young panellists working at national level. Regular communication at this level is important if we are to gain real added value from the annual youth panellists’ meeting at the Safer Internet Forum.

Recognising the strategic importance of youth participation, European Schoolnet and Vivendi decided, with the support of the European Commission, that Pan-EU Youth should also serve as a platform to provide visibility to the work the Insafe Youth Panels are doing.
